Dr. Gio Venittelli, optometrist, relocated to Temecula from Orange County in 2004. He has over 30 years of experience in the eye care industry.

His practice, TEMECULA CREEK OPTOMETRY, opened in September of 2005 and features an unparalleled selection of designer frames and sunglasses. He and his staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality eye care in a personal, friendly, and compassionate environment.

Dr. Venittelli grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and attended the University Minnesota for his undergraduate work. He received his doctorate from Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. He graduated Summa Cum Laude.

For seventeen years, Dr. Venittelli practiced Optometry at a large medical group of 75 physicians in Long Beach, California. Dr. Venittelli has a special interest in eye disease detection and management, an interest fostered over the many years of working closely with ophthalmologists. He yearned to leave corporate health care and to have a practice of his own in an area with a small-town feel. Temecula offered the perfect opportunity.

Gio, his wife, and 2 daughters love south Temecula. Mary, his wife, teaches Special Education at Chaparral High School. Gio enjoys playing softball, cycling, skiing, tennis, playing piano, and country walks with his wife.

Dr. Gio was excited to welcome his daughter, Dr. Katie Dugan, as an associate optometrist in June of 2014.
