Dr. Danielle Leone
Dr. Danielle Leone completed her undergraduate studies at UC Irvine, double majoring in Biological Sciences and Music Performance. She dreamed of pursuing both her passions- being a healthcare provider and professional musician.
She completed her Master’s degree in Flute Performance at USC Thornton School of Music in 2011 and entered optometry school in 2012. Dr. Danielle completed her Doctor of Optometry Degree at the Southern California College of Optometry in 2016. As part of her outreach, she did eye exams for Special Olympics athletes and traveled to Tanzania to see patients with poor vision due to albinism. She completed her optometry residency in Phoenix, Arizona in 2017.
Dr. Danielle thoroughly enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them to improve the quality of their lives through vision.
She has a very approachable communication style and loves that the eye exam provides a great “snap-shot” into a person’s overall health. She also loves seeing the excitement of a child after getting their first pair of glasses.
When Dr. Danielle is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her first loves- her mom Terry, husband Nick and standard poodle Lexie. You may also catch her in the Starbucks line daily! She continues to play her flute in an orchestra in Orange County on Sundays. She is thrilled to be a part of such an amazing group of doctors and staff at Temecula Creek and Murrieta Creek Optometry.
